Black on Black in NYC

Keeping it simple and comfortable for a long day of park strolling and biking.  Today's article takes you through my two favorite parks in New York City wearing all black.

Little Girl, Big City

Thursday, 11 September 2014

Had a small getaway to New York City in the past weekend, a city that I love coming back to every so often. And every time I do, I always discover something new.  This is why I love making yearly visits here, thank goodness it's only an affordable 1 hr flight.

I still can't believe that exactly13 years ago on this day, a tragedy happened right where my foot was standing.  Now working in a 43-story building, I cannot even imagine what it would have been like being through that.. it only scares me to think about it.  A moment in history that we can only wish it never happened, but all we can do now is forever remember.  Looking at the World Trade Center, I can only feel how small I am compared to everything around me and how incidents like these are so out of our control.  This is why we must live every day of our lives with no regrets and try our utmost to fill it with joy and laughter.

{Tuesday Treasures} Korean Lip Crayons from 3 Concept Eyes

Tuesday, 26 August 2014

Yinsey's Tuesday Treasures is a little excerpt where she reviews her favourite products, unloads her recent buys, or just shares the things that she loves.

Majorly loving these lip crayons by 3 Concept Eyes. Not only is there an offering of an incredible range of colours that suit Asian skin tones, they glide on beautifully, stay on well but thankfully  are easily enough removed with makeup wipes. I found a store in London's China Town that stock these; I was genuinely delighted, so I splurged on colours NEON PINK, ORANGE HUG and PINK SMOOTHIE (see above image).

Mini Exploration

The best part about living in Canada is being able to explore this little pockets of nature.  Last weekend, I went on a mini road trip to Bruce Peninsula, Tobermory.  Along the way, I stopped by Wiarton located in South Bruce Peninsula and discovered the ruins of "Corran" in the Spirit Rock Conservation area.
